Race 2 @ 4.41pm - #4 Makaku
I thought he was super last week at Alexandra Park. He meets a strong field, but as long as he does it right and goes a solid race I'll be happy.
Race 7 @ 7.20pm - #8 Mako
He was brave last start after being off the track for the last 1500. He has a wide barrier to overcome, but still looks a leading chance.
Race 9 @ 8.23pm - #5 Joes Rock, #11 Little Spike, #12 Jolimont
Joes Rock is putting together a nice formline. She has a head start on the boys so you can't leave her out.
It's a good opportunity for Little Spike to recapture his form of old. On paper he looks one of the main contenders.
I was rapt with the way Jolimont hit the line. It's a big handicap to overcome but having said that, he looks a great each way player.
Race 11 @ 9.24pm - #7 Baileys Pitch & #10 Skys Legacy
Baileys Pitch makes a return following his nice win a month ago. He has a niggly draw, but with luck he'll go an honest race.
It's a big drop in grade for Skys Legacy. The second row means he'll have to navigate around a few, but he looks well capable in this line up.
